KILL IT!

Philippians 3:3
... rejoice in Christ Jesus and have NO CONFIDENCE in the flesh!
Philippians 3:7-14
...count all things loss for the excellence of the KNOWLEDGE  of Christ....
count them as rubbish to gain Christ.
nothing compares to knowing Christ.
Philippians 3:16.. to the degree that we have already attained let us walk by that.
in other words, WALK in the KNOWLEDGE & MATURITY in Christ that you already have 
and trust Him to grow you to further maturity and knowledge.
WALK IN WHAT  YOU ALREADY HAVE!
Galatians 2:20 we are crucified with Christ,
dead to everything else except Christ and what He represents.
The old man is dead, so is his attitudes, and behaviors.
We are raised to new life, a NEW PERSON in Christ.. new behaviors, desires etc.
Stop trying to 'clean up' the outside...get Jesus on the inside!
He will transform you by His power!
We must PUT OFF    the old man's ways [daily things are either
dying or being added].
and PUT ON We must MORTIFY the old nature ...flesh must be nailed to the Cross with Christ.
Colossians 3
PUT TO DEATH=  
anger, wrath, malice, filthy language, lies, evil desires, fornication, adultery, greed, idolatry etc.
PUT ON=
humility, love, kindness, compassion, mercy, meekness,patience, forgiveness, obedience, holiness, etc
focus our interests and ambitions Heaven-ward..cultivate Godly virtues. Jesus changes our 'want to',
conform to Christ and press on!
Philippians 3:12-14 "LAY HOLD OF THAT which Christ Jesus also laid hold of you"

there is a reason why He called you!
We must voluntarily choose to do right!
WE NEVER 'BREAK' GOD'S LAW OR CHANGE IT, IT'S FOREVER FIRM! WE JUST
BLOODY OURSELVES AS WE HIT UP AGAINST IT IN DISOBEDIENCE AND REBELLION!
