The State of Oklahoma is failing women in our state. Consider these statistics:
Oklahoma is:
#1 in incarcerated women
#1 in child abuse
#4 in women murdered by men
#4 in divorce
#6 in teen births
#41 in women's employment & earnings
#42 in women's overall health
#45 in management & professional jobs
#47 in women with health insurance
The list could go on and on! These stats are not ok Oklahoma!!!
That is why the OKLAHOMA WOMEN'S COALITION has been formed to work to improve the lives of
women & girls in our state.
It is time for Oklahomans to join together to raise our voices on behalf of women & girls.
