Sin Is A Prison

When the enemy first presents temptation, he promises that sin will feel like Heaven -- that it will be worth the cost. However, what may have felt a little like "Heaven" in the beginning, over time, degrades into the bondage of hell. In contrast, when the Holy Spirit calls us to deny ourselves and resist temptation, in the beginning it may feel a little like hell. However, in time, holding to the righteousness of God will unfold into Heaven. -Francis Frangipane
